Acrylic Painting with Steve Lavigne

During this six-week introduction to acrylic painting, students will explore a wide range of techniques for applying paint to a surface.  Workshops that focus on support building, colour theory, blending, and shading will aid the students in the production of a finished painting using the subject matter of their choosing.  All skill levels are welcome. Interested in creating events for youth, working with artists, earning volunteer hours, and having a behind-the-scenes look at the Gallery? KW|AG is searching for youth ages 13-19 interested in making a difference for youth in our community. Gain practical experience in the arts by hosting performances, organizing youth art exhibitions, staging art interventions and much more. Everyone is welcome.
