In|sight is KW|AG’s artist residency program held at local schools that promotes partnerships between artists and students in the community.

Artist Soheila Esfahani worked with students in Mr. Paul Kekish’s grade 12 Visual Arts class at St. Mary’s Catholic Secondary School to design and assemble cultural mash-ups.  Their project, Code, is an investigation into how objects that represent contemporary culture are defined by individuals, by groups, and by society.  Students made a series of prints based on objects that represent culture to them, which were then deconstructed and reassembled to create cultural mash-ups in the form of a quilt and QR code.
