The passing of time in both public and private sites is the focus in Toronto-based photographer Colwyn Griffith's recent work. Among the works included in this exhibition will be Reclamation, an ongoing series which captures the abandonment, dereliction, and occasional adaptation of the architecture for multinational fast-food outlets. Once the scene of ubiquitous fast-food production and purposeful banality, these reclaimed sites occasionally host a diverse universe of business practices, design and culture.
