The Lost Art: Author Talk with Former FBI Agent Robert Wittman

Robert Wittman will be at the Gallery to speak about his remarkable career recovering priceless art and antiquities from around the world. Wittman founded the FBI's National Art Crime Team and served for 20 years as the FBI's investigative expert in this field.  He is responsible for recovering more than $300 million in stolen art and cultural property. Read more and purchase tickets.

Artist Chris Flanagan @ KW|AG

Artist and DJ Chris Flanagan is looking to consult with local youth on Kitchener-specific slang, secret handshakes, and other physical gestures in preparation for his exhibition at the Gallery in March, 2012.  Flanagan will be creating an installation based partly on the history and mythologies of Kitchener, the now-demolished Barra Castle, and input will be gathered during this session. Chris will also be sharing some information on his artwork and will speak about how music shapes the work that he creates. Refreshments will be served.
