Having climbed Kilimanjaro, Mount Ararat, and Mount Elbrus as well as leading expeditions in Ecuador and Upper Mustang, Dimitry is no stranger to exotic locales. Come join us as he recounts his adventures and shares his photographic expertise. His photographs are dramatic and he will make full use of the state of the art Christie Digital projection system at the Hub.

Dimitry's LiveJournal blog has over 15,000 subscibers and 90,000 active monthly readers and is recognized as the major blogger in active travel photography in Europe. He has been associated with Leica, acting as official photographer for Leica sponsored expeditions and having an exhibiiton at the Leica Gallery in Frankfurt. He was the face of Epson Printers in Russia and chaired the jury of the Annual All-Russian "Epson" Nature Photography Competition in 2010.

He is the founder of "Photoplanet" Club and holds memberships in the Photo-Artists Union of Russia and the Caucasian Mountain Society. Dimitry, a Canadian, is a founding member of Foto:RE.
